Temporary Closure of Glastonbury Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along; Glastonbury Road – from the junction with Riverside, south westwards for a total distance of 43 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out an inspection of pipe bridge brackets and locate existing water main.

The Order becomes effective on 26th January 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 30th January 2023 and last until 30th January 2023 between the hours of 09:30 – 14:30 for a total of 5 hours.
